The Carthage R-9 Board of Education met in special session on Wednesday , July 22, 2020 , 6:00 pm , at Carthage Intermediate Center. Present were Board members Jeff Jones, Niki Cloud, Bill Lasley, Karen Wilkinson, Patrick Scott and Ryan Collier. Lee Elliff Pound attended via Facetime.
Jeff Jones led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Phyllis Barks and Kelli Hopkins, Associate Executive Directors, Missouri School Boards Association, provided training for the Board of Education and administrators on the topic of developing foundations for a new governance team.
