Missouri sets COVID-19 record for fourth straight day with 1,652 new cases

Missouri continued to set records for new COVID-19 cases with 1,652 cases recorded today, breaking the previous record of 1,637 set Thursday, according to statistics posted this afternoon by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

It was the fourth straight day that new cases set records and the fifth time in the past seven days.

Thursday's total surpassed the 1,301 cases posted Wednesday, which topped the previous record of 1,138 set on Tuesday.








The state's total stands at 39,352.

The state has had 1,178 deaths, which interestingly, is one less than the 1,179 posted Thursday.
