Newton County's fourth COVID-19 death reported

Newton County reported its fourth COVID-19 death today in a Health Department press release and in another release said the number of confirmed cases stands at 651.

The latest fatality was in his or her 80s (the news release did not say whether the death was a man or a woman) and had been admitted to the hospital with "signs and symptoms related to COVID-19."

Three hundred seventy of the coronavirus cases remain under isolation with five people hospitalized. 

Another 100 people are being followed, according to the news release, which says most of the cases continue to be in the Neosho city limits.
