Patients of Joplin ophthalmologist Larry Jordan may be seeing him again if Dr. Jordan has any say about it.
Jordan, his wife Wesena and daughter Larissa, all contracted COVID-19. Wesena Jordan told KOAM reporter Mike Mahoney that she and her husband have been married 46 years and the 40 days Dr Jordan was in Freeman's COVID unit were the longest the two have ever been apart.
Jordan, who spent 46 days at Freeman West Hospital, including the 40 in the COVID unit and who is recovering at home, hopes to return to his practice.
“I don’t want to end the practice on a note like this. I want to be able to continue seeing patients and working for a while longer,”

Obamacare saves lives whether republicants believe it or not!
320. did good Doctor use Ocare??
Quick correction. Wesena is Dr Jordan's wife. Larissa is his daughter.
He did not mandate masks for patients or his staff when my kids where there in March, so like I don't feel sorry for him. It's like ppl whining about kids they didn't want but weren't using condoms...like...maybe use protection....?
My kiddos won't be going back to a doctor who doesn't believe in science though. If nothing else, this experience taught us not to trust him. I am thankful for that.
Seems like the doctor now has a preexisting condition. So if he ever wants to buy health insurance in the future then he can thank President Obama and all the Democratic lawmakers that ensured people with preexisting conditions can buy health insurance.
Thanks for catching that, Sheri. I didn't realize I had switched their names on the second reference. It has been fixed.
Actually the insurance companies will probably consider everyone who has survived Trump's Great Stupid Pandemic to have a preexisting condition.
So it likely won't just be the doctor who could have difficulty buying affordable health insurance if Republicans and their Republican Supreme Court toadies repeal Obamacare.
Vote Republican if you want to turn the health insurance companies loose to deny affordable coverage to anyone who had survived COVID-19!
