Missouri passes 1,400 deaths, 794 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

Six Missourians died in the past 24 hours from COVID-19, while 794 new cases were confirmed, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Department of Health and Senior Services.

With the deaths, Missouri has recorded 1,402 deaths, while the case total stands at 69,417.

Two Southwest Missouri counties, Greene and Jasper, rank among the 10 counties that have confirmed the most coronavirus cases, according to the state statistics with Greene County ranking seventh and Jasper County ninth.
