Two more COVID-19 deaths in Jasper County, nine new cases confirmed

The Jasper County Health Department reported the county's 10th and 11th COVID-19 deaths today.

One was a female in her 40s, according to a news release, while the other was a man in his 70s. Both had been hospitalized.







The county reported nine confirmed coronavirus cases putting the total at 315. The number of people who are hospitalized decreased from seven to five while the number under isolation is at 54 down from 58.

The statistics do not include the portion of Jasper County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
