Three COVID-19 deaths reported in Joplin

 

The Joplin Health Department reported three deaths due to COVID-19 today increasing the city's total to 96.

The victims were a 71-year-old woman, an 87-year-old woman and an 82-year-old man. The latter two were residents of a long-term care facility.

The department confirmed 24 coronavirus cases with 277 active out of a total of 4,750.

Joplin hospitals have 78 COVID-19 patients, including 31 city residents.
