Joplin man who allegedly ditched meth, guns in trash bin at Fuzzy's Tacos waives reading, pleads not guilty

A Joplin man waived the formal reading of his indictment and pleaded not guilty to meth and weapons charges this morning during a hearing in U. S. District Court in Springfield.

Freddie Joe McAnally, 42, allegedly ditched a backpack full of guns and methamphetamine in a trash bin behind Fuzzy's Tacos December 23, 2019.

The indictment was unsealed February 1 after officers from the Ozarks Area Drug Enforcement Team and the Jasper County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a Carthage home the previous week and arrested McAnally.
