Accused killer, two other dangerous escapees at large following McDonald County jailbreak

Three people, including an accused killer, escaped from the McDonald County Jail earlier this evening and remain at large.

All three are considered dangerous, according to a McDonald County Sheriff's Office news release:

July 24, 2021 at approximately 5p.m. three inmates in the McDonald County Detention Center attacked and overtook an on duty Detention Officer and escaped from the facility.

Shun'tavion Ladarrias Thomas, 23, is charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with the November 22, 2020 shooting death of Jonathan Arrelanos at the Noel Heights Apartments on Redwood Lane in Noel.

According to the probable cause statement, a witness heard Thomas and Arellanos arguing in one of the apartments, then heard two shots and saw Thomas running from the apartment. Arellanos was left lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen. The murder occurred at a time when two children were in the apartment.

Thomas is described as a "Black male last seen wearing white pants and white shirt."

The other escapees, are David Molina, 49, described as a "49-year-old Hispanic male last seen wearing orange and white stripe pants and white shirt," and Carmelo Miguel Burgos, 27, described as a "27-year-old Hispanic male last seen wearing orange and white stripe pants and no shirt."

Molina is awaiting trial on multiple felony charges including domestic assault, violation of a protection order (two counts), assault (two counts) armed criminal action and stalking.

Burgos is awaiting trial on two felony charges, assault and damage to jail property.

The Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information to call 911.

Noel used to be one the most peaceful, quaint, beautiful little burgs. Thanks, Simmons/Tyson/Obama!!

    Obama derangement much?

The plant in Noel was running long before President Obama was elected. The plant employees were mostly new immigrants before President Obama was elected.

How about blame WalMart and Kroger and all the other grocery chains that sell what Noel kills and packs?

How about blame all the other low wage employers who pay peanuts so their employees have to buy the cheapest food available to feed their families?

How about blame all Missouri's bottom feeding capitalists?
