Joplin Health Department confirms 40 COVID-19 cases, 102 in city hospitals

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 40 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, according to statistics posted on the city's website.

The new cases bring the city's total to 7,651.

A total of 102 COVID patients are in Joplin hospitals, including 19 city residents.

Joplin currently has 163 active cases and has reported 144 deaths due to COVID-19.
