(From Seventh District Congressman Eric Burlison)Cocaine was discovered at the White House this past week. It's a strange story with a lot to unpack.
The story of where they found the cocaine keeps changing. First it was in this location, now it's in that location... Do you really think the story would change so much if they found anthrax? No!
Officials now believe it's unlikely they'll find the person who brought the cocaine. That's ridiculous.
They have advanced security technology and visitor logs. Plus, we all know they closely monitor White House access. You can narrow down who was there, when they were there, and you can even drug test those individuals. It's where the President lives for crying out loud.
The White House is either trying to protect someone, or the White House is not secure. Both of those are massive problems.

Your tax dollars fund White House security. That's why my committee, the Oversight Committee, is requesting a briefing about White House security practices to determine what failures led to this debacle.
The bottom line is this. An illegal substance was found in one of the allegedly most secure government buildings in our country. The American people deserve answers on how this happened.
Well, Start with Hunter. He is no stranger to the white powder. Not saying he is guilty but all have learned that people with crimal histories can venture back into that life style vs someone who has never been exposed to that.
