A Joplin man who spanked an 11-year-old boy and made him drink habanero sauce as punishment pleaded guilty this morning in Jasper County Circuit Court.
John W. Mason, 37, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of endangering the welfare of a child under a plea agreement with the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office. The original charge was child abuse.
Judge David Mouton approved the agreement, sentencing Mason to four years in prison, then suspending the sentence and placing him on supervised probation for five years.
Black-Gamble, who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison (with the condition that he served at least one year behind bars), forced the 11-year-old boy to do strenuous exercises as punishment. When the boy complained, either Black-Gamble or Mason would spank him.
Mason also forced the boy to drink habanero sauce as a punishment, according to the probable cause statement.
Suspended sentence??? I hope that kid stomps his a$& when he’s big enough. Then again, if you abuse a child like this guy did you’ve shown just how weak you are.
ReplyDeleteHell yes, I’d bail the kid out of jail when he gets old enough to kick his ass. Just the normal chicken shit judges of Jasper county. And chicken shit prosecutors, we need to fire these morons
DeleteMouton is soft.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that sees the difference in how Mouton treats men and women? He is a woman hater.

This is bs. And yet 10 years ago judges were trying to lock people up for 45 years for a few oz of marijuana
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke of a sentence this guy got. There is no justice now days it seems like courts want the criminals out. What are you all going to do when it's people like this left out and the decent people locked up? Ever heard of the Bolshevik Revolution? Open your eyes people.
