KSNF/KODE is reporting that the Neosho R-5 Board of Education has narrowed the list of superintendent candidates to three.
One of the finalists will replace Jim Cummins, who is retiring June 30.
The following people were named as finalists:
-Jim Davis, assistant superintendent, Rogers, Arkansas
-Robert Langman, superintendent, Darien, Illinois School District
-Richard Fretwell, Neosho R-5 assistant superintendent
Interviews will take place Thursday.
Surely not Fretwell. Get some new blood in this God forsaken town.
ReplyDeleteGet Fretwell out of Neosho. That school needs a chance to turn things around.
ReplyDeleteFreewill works for Jim Cummins the savior of Neosho schools so he should be perfect for the job.
ReplyDeleteFretwell, just the same as Cummins are all in it for their name. Not for the sake of the children and teachers in that district. It’s a shame that these types of people get into these head roles to ruin Neosho more and more each year. Both Cummins and Fretwell should’ve been terminated long ago. If Neosho stands a chance, get someone to lead that’s not from this area.
ReplyDeleteThe property taxes being paid to this school are shameful. Where is all that money?
ReplyDeleteWhy waste the time of other possible applicants when the hiring board is going to hire Cummins butt buddy? If Neosho wants to change their ways, hire from OUTSIDE the district!!
ReplyDelete1:07 Look at your tax bill. Over 60 percent goes to them. The media indicated that the City is still holding Tiff money of theirs. Could be your taxes could go down.
ReplyDeleteFretwell is a rat, nobody cares about “he knows the ropes” the ropes are leading to a big fire. Neosho is a joke and needs a fresh start.
ReplyDeleteAgree. School Admin and City leadership.
ReplyDeleteDavis will be a breath of fresh air. Tax payers in this district deserve to know where all the property tax money goes.
ReplyDelete656 inquiring more about Tiff, did the school not get dollars back? How much we talkin?
ReplyDelete7:06 PM Neosho City Hall Finance Office should have the amount.
ReplyDeleteFretwell is on administrative leave as of Monday 8/12. Just a FYI.
