The suspect in the March 3 stabbing death of Seth R. Langford, 36, Carl Junction, remains at large, according to a news release issued today by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.
We are still seeking the whereabouts of Scott B Burleson who is wanted in connection with a homicide, Burleson should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Burleson, do not approach. Contact the Jasper County Sheriff's Office dispatch (417-359-9100) or your local law enforcement.
The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office charged Burleson, 30, with second degree murder, armed robbery and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with Langford's death.

Paul D. Phillips, 36, Seneca, was arraigned Monday in Jasper County Circuit Court and entered a not guilty plea. Phillips, who allegedly was working in concert with Burleson is charged with robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering with a motor vehicle and unlawful use of a weapon.
