The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office charged Shawn Huff (DOB 1965), Carl Junction, today with two counts of statutory rape and three counts of statutory sodomy.
The statutory rape counts involve a girl beginning when she was 12 in 2019 and continuing through 2021, according to the probable cause statement. The statutory sodomy counts involve a boy who was under eight years old and occurred in 2016 and 2017.
The girl revealed the alleged crimes during an interview at the Children's Center.
In addition to the sexual acts, the probable cause statement said Huff threatened the boy if he told anyone what happened.
The juvenile male disclosed that Huff told him, he "Huff," would hurt the juvenile male's mother if he said anything. The juvenile disclosed this after Huff was arrested and incarcerated in the Jasper County Jail pending Domestic Assault 1st charge.
Huff is being held without bond after allegedly choking his wife, holding a gun to her head and threatening to kill her January 21.
Huff was bound over for trial on the assault charge following a February 22 preliminary hearing. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for October 15.
I wonder if this is the same guy who was a heckuva running back for Parkwood around '83 or '84?
