Kehoe orders flags flown at full staff for Trump inauguration

(From Gov. Mike Kehoe)

Today, in an act of respect and patriotism, Governor Mike Kehoe signed Executive Order 25-09, ordering U.S. and Missouri flags to be flown at full-staff on Monday, January 20, 2025, at all state buildings and grounds in honor of Inauguration Day.

This directive aligns with federal statute, which states that flags should be prominently displayed during specific occasions, especially for the inauguration of a U.S. President.

“While Missouri continues to mourn the passing of former President Jimmy Carter and remembers his remarkable legacy of service to our nation by displaying our flags at half-staff, we will also celebrate the promise of a new chapter for our country and the opportunities that lie ahead,” said Governor Kehoe. “To commemorate the democratic transition of power, I have directed all flags to be raised to full-staff for the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.”

All flags should be at half staff because 1/20/2025 will be a day of mourning.

Another SOB. Jimmy Carter had more morals and integrity than Trump and his cohorts. Good to know that at least half the country won’t be watching.

You can bet that this will be the "largest ever attended inauguration PERIOD", Sean spicer, Jan 2016. Look for doctored photos and employee firings from the Park Service as trumps fragile ego won't accept the small crowd that'll actually show up. A pathetic narcissist in full view and 4 years of hate filled ignorance. Can we endure?

Please Stop lying to yourselves - Democrats. Jimmy Carter was probably a good and decent man, a humanitarian - but a Terrible President!

With have the 11th largest oil reserves and the 4th largest natural gas reserves - in the World - The United States should never be dependent on Foreign Countries - for our Survival.

Yet - though we had Oil and Gas underground - Carter wanted us to Import these Resources from Opec instead of Drilling and being Independant of the World.

Do you not remember waiting in long lines at the Gas Pumps and having to buy gas on even and odd days - depending on your License Number - Like we were living in the Depression Era with Gasoline Rationing - STUPID - THIS COST AMERICA - BIG TIME.

Carter's Environmental stance is Laughable - In 1978, at his urging, Congress banned new power plants from using natural gas or oil, in order to reduce the nation’s reliance on importing those fuels, a move that automatically increased U.S. coal consumption - Yet Banning Oil and Gas Exploration in the United States - so we would be Dependent On other Countries and Opec.

On a sweltering day in July 1979, President Jimmy Carter flew to Kentucky with a message: The nation’s energy future rested on coal.

Coal - Considered the most polluting fossil fuel due to high carbon emissions and various air pollutants produced during combustion. Was one of his Biggest Environmental - STUPID LEGACIES - Carter ever came up with.

He gave the Panama Canal away after we built and paid for it - One of the most important and strategic trade zones and military zones in the world for the United States to move goods and military ships from the Atlantic to Pacific Oceans and back.

Today, the Panama Canal generates billions annually for Panama, serving as a major revenue source. However, growing Chinese investments in the region have sparked new geopolitical concerns.

Iran seized the American embassy in Tehran holding 53 Americans hostage until the day that Ronald Reagan was sworn in as president of the United States.

The average inflation rate of Carter’s four years in office was 10.4%.

Home mortgage rates averaged about 8.85% before the Carter administration in 1977. However, by the end of Carter's presidency in 1981, home mortgage rates averaged a whopping 16.64%. WOW!!!

Shortly after becoming president his weakness on the world stage became evident and was seized upon by the world’s bad actors. This included an escalation of the Cold War with Russia, which also included the Russian invasion of Afghanistan.

Ronald Reagan’s 489-49 victory over Jimmy Carter in 1980 stands as the largest over an incumbent president in American history.

WHY - Did Everyone want to Remove Carter from Office, because America could not survive, with him trying to lead our country.

Again, you can try to Paint the Past differently or Fail to Remember the Truth - But Carter's History while in Office - Tells the Story - Jimmy Carter was a one-term president and is remembered for the events that overwhelmed it—Inflation, Energy Crisis, War in Afghanistan, Giving away the Panama Canal, and Hostages in Iran.

So, Be Honest - Nice Guy - Terrible President - That Cost America - 4-Years and a Legacy of being a Sub-Par and Laughable Country on the World Stage -
