According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old Strafford boy struck a 26-year-old Jasper man who was crossing the roadway.
The Jasper man was pronounced dead at Mercy Springfield at 9:55 p.m.
The fatality was the 27th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
Condolences for the man that was killed and to his family and friends for their loss.
ReplyDeleteToday, first thing police should always check - were they on or using their cell phone when an accident takes place - or probably once the family for the man that was killed hires an attorney, they will check it as a possible cause.
