Search warrant execution at Joplin home leads to 3 arrests, confiscation of meth, fentanyl, weapons

(From the Joplin Police Department)

On May 1st, 2026, Joplin FLEX Platoon detectives, with assistance from the Jasper County S.W.A.T. Team, served a narcotics search warrant at 1555 Expedite Lane in Jasper County. This search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation that was initiated by the Joplin Police Department’s FLEX Platoon. Over the course of the investigation, information was developed that individuals at this location were trafficking illegal narcotics.

Once the Jasper County S.W.A.T. Team arrived to serve the search warrant, a male later identified as Alden White, 38, of Joplin, walked out of the back door of the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

After White had been apprehended, the primary suspect from the search warrant, identified as Russell Greene, 44, of Joplin (top photo), and a female, later identified as Ashlyn Cason, 27, of Joplin, were observed near the door White left open when he left the residence. The Jasper County S.W.A.T. Team attempted multiple times to communicate with both Greene and Cason to have them peacefully surrender. Despite these efforts, both Greene and Cason refused to comply and barricaded themselves inside the residence. As a result of their failure to comply peacefully, the Jasper County S.W.A.T. Team inserted C.S. gas into the residence. After a few minutes both suspects surrendered and were detained without incident.

After the residence was secure, detectives from the Joplin Police Department’s FLEX Platoon conducted a search of the residence. During the search, detectives located a manufactured hiding place inside the residence’s vent ducts. Upon further investigation, detectives noted that the vent ducts appeared to contain a large quantity of narcotics and two firearms.

As a result of the search, detectives were able to successfully locate 1.3 pounds of fentanyl, 388 grams of methamphetamine, and two loaded firearms. The amount of fentanyl seized is equivalent to approximately 294,835 lethal doses. It should be noted that the Drug Enforcement Agency (D.E.A.) considers 2 milligrams of fentanyl a lethal dose amount.

Ultimately, all three subjects were arrested and transported to the Joplin City Jail.

The Jasper County Prosecutor's Office filed charges on Greene which included Trafficking Drugs in the First Degree, Unlawful Uses of Weapons, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Resist/Interfere with Arrest. Bond was set at $1,000,000 surety plus $500,000 cash only.

The Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges on Cason which included Trafficking in the First Degree and Resist/Interfere with Arrest. Bond was set at $500,000 surety or $250,000 cash bond.

White was arrested for an active warrant issued from Newton County.

The Joplin Police Department wants to thank the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance with this investigation.

For all you Leftist Liberal Demoncrats - Where do you think that much Meth and Fentanyl came from - The Local Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy Stores - NO, it is coming in from Mexico - Straight up our Interstates or being brought in by Illegal Aliens - 1.3 pounds of fentanyl, 388 grams of methamphetamine, that amount of fentanyl seized is equivalent to approximately 294,835 lethal doses - Yet, your previous Autopen, Sleep at the Wheel President - thought it was a "GREAT IDEA", to leave the Borders Open and to Give Illegal Aliens Driver's Licenses - so our current President is as of early 2026, the Trump administration has intensified its crackdown on foreign-born commercial drivers, including those from Mexico, by enforcing strict, previously lax rules on English proficiency and tightening licensing requirements. YOU ARE WELCOME - AGAIN - KEEPING AMERICA STRONG - Reducing Illegal Aliens, Drug Traffickers, and Foreign Drivers - who Break our Laws and had Little or No Consequences for doing so.
