There have been an extreme amount of motorcycle deaths and accidents in the southwest Missouri area lately. Though some were wearing helmets the majority were not. Paul Matthew Hooker, was not wearing a helmet! Though a helmet is not a guarantee of surviving an accident, helmets reduce the likelihood of death in a motorcycle crash by roughly 37% to 42% and lower the risk of severe head injuries by about 69%. Though to some helmets are a personal choice, a nuisance a loss of your personal freedom, and the wind in the face to many - the other side of the coin is the possibility to survive and come home to your family, your friends. We all live or die based on our decisions! Make good choices to live another day!
