Chart looks at 1992 presidential visit
The timing of President Bush's visit to Missouri Southern State University did not work out well for the university newspaper, The Chart, but the publication did have extensive coverage of the event, including an absorbing article by Rebecca Watts that has information on the last time a sitting president visited Southern..the first President Bush's 1992 campaign stop.

Way to go, Chart! It appears that you do have a pulse, after all. Maybe we can take you off life support now. Let's see what you can do this week in terms of providing readers with a specific analysis of Bush's visit.
The Chart is a weekly. What it needs to do is not a political analysis. The dailies will have covered that to death and the election will be over by Friday.
What The Chart needs to do is find localized (campus, student, etc.) angles to the visit. And localized reaction and/or analysis of the election.
I'm watching
I did not say a POLITICAL analysis, Mr. Stolen Painting. I said a specific analysis. The analysis should be on the impact of his visit to MSSU. Were the protesters satisfied with their proximity to the motorcade? Did the visit enhance MSSU's image? How much is the University billing the Republican Party for? How will the students remember Bush's visit?
