Plasters contribute $13,400 to Romney campaign

In a tongue-in-cheek editorial in today's Springfield News-Leader, the Editorial Board asks presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney to help persuade Speaker of the House Rod Jetton to level with Missourians about the insertion into a law of a measure designed to benefit his friend, Robert Plaster of Lebanon.

If the News-Leader Editorial Board was serious about this (and it is fairly certain it was not), it should be noted that the Plaster family of Lebanon has contributed $13,400 to Romney's presidential campaign in 2007, including $9,200 on Sept. 30, the last day of the third quarter reporting period.
