Ethics charge against Cynthia Davis dismissed

The Missouri Ethics Commission has dismissed an ethics complaint against Rep.Cynthia Davis, R-O'Fallon.

In a letter to Mrs. Davis, the Commission said it had "reviewed allegations that she had used campaign funds for personal use and had failed to disclose in-kind contributions or expenditures for a billboard."

The letter indicated the investigation showed Mrs. Davis had reported the contributions and that the alleged personal expenses were used for "producing and writing a broadcast speech," something which is permitted.

The judge ruled the charges were beyond Cindy's ability to understand them and this was a gift of mercy from the courts.

The only ethical violation on Davis' part is the fact that when someone is as stupid as her, there must be an injustice at fault somewhere.
