Brunner websites to reveal "truth" about Akin, Steelman

(From U. S. Senate candidate John Brunner)

Today, Brunner for Senate launches two new websites —www.SteelmanFacts.com and www.AkinFacts.com to inform and educate voters on the facts in Congressman Todd Akin and Treasurer Sarah Steelman’s lengthy voting records.

Just like John Brunner’s most recent television commercial, ‘Manufacturing Comparison,’ the websites are fully sourced and backed with clear and concise citations from the U.S. House of Representatives, Missouri State Senate, and contemporaneous news sources. Each site seeks to educate and inform voters about the numerous inconsistent and unreliable votes Treasurer Steelman and Congressman Akin have cast during their extended tenures as career politicians.

Elections are about choices and since neither Congressman Akin nor Treasurer Steelman will be completely open and honest about their distressingly unreliable and inconsistent voting histories, these new websites will help educate voters on that clear choice.

Only selected topics on both sites are active, with the additional topics to be revealed throughout the primary campaign. At www.SteelmanFacts.com, voters can learn more about Steelman’s fiscally irresponsible voting record dealing with votes to put Missouri deeper into debt, votes to allocate tax dollars for pork projects, and votes to increase taxes — despite her recent declaration that she never voted to raise taxes. Atwww.AkinFacts.com, voters can look up each of Akin’s votes to increase the nation's debt limit by more than $3 trillion and his votes for billions in wasteful earmark projects.

“With nearly forty years as career politicians combined, Congressman Akin and Treasurer Steelman are poster children for what's wrong today with Jefferson City and Washington D.C.,” said Brunner spokesman Todd Abrajano. “SteelmanFacts.com andAkinFacts.com will help educate voters on the clear choice in this election: more of the same with career politicians, or a driven successful businessman in John Brunner who will use his expertise to get America working again.”
