Charge: Indiana man on drugs when he hit Rep. Burlison's car

An Indiana man has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence of drugs after ramming into five cars, including one driven by Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Springfield.

Marlin R. Knepp, 26, Loogootee, Ind., caused the accidents while driving along I-44, east of Marshfield and just west of Strafford, according to the Highway Patrol.

Burlison reported the incident on his Facebook page:

"Someone driving a black Chevy Avalanche just ran my car off the road on I-44.  They are driving westbound.  They raced to get to my car and then clipped the tail of my vehicle which sent me spinning into the guard rails (which saved my life). "

So I guess you can thank the taxpayers, Mr. Burlison, for the fact that you're alive today. You know, the taxpayers who make government at all levels possible, not to mention your salary. You know, the government that the GOP is constantly complaining about because it's supposedly too big. Get a clue!

You mean the same Mr. Burlison who supported the budget for MoDOT authorizing the placement of the median cables which could have prevented his vehicle from crossing over to the oncoming lane and causing serious injury or death to other innocent travelers?

Or do you mean the Mr. Burlison who now has first-hand knowledge of the problems caused by people driving under the influence and believes that punishment of these people is an important pathway to stoping these individuals from being a threat, hopefully, in the future?

4:54, you have every right to be stupid and thank you for sharing that level of intelligence on this forum.
