When I answered it, a tall man (at least taller than I am) with dark hair and a dark mustache , appearing to be in his 30s, asked, "Are you Mr. Turner?"
I said I was and the man drew back his right hand and punched me in the nose, causing me to fall to the floor. He walked off without saying another word.
Stunned and lying on the floor, I was not able to go the window to see what kind of vehicle the man was driving in or whether he was walking.
From what I was able to determine, though he said nothing, his actions were a response to my posts yesterday and today about the Rangeline Sonic.
I am posting photos of my face and my knee, which developed a knot by it due to the fall.
As I write this, I am waiting for the Joplin Police Department to arrive, then I plan to go to the emergency room.
Hopefully, I will be able to provide an update soon.

Randy maybe you should consider other peoples feelings when writing your opinion bc that is all it is is your opinion there are always other circumstances involved in any situation and voicing an opinion on something with out knowing everything about the situation is going to cause conflict. I am really glad whom ever this was still carried the old fashion way of dealing with things and only punched you, now days you dont see this much they simply drive up and shoot you. so maybe you should not be so opinionated when it comes to personal opinions about other people that you dont personally know. just sayin
ReplyDeleteAlred appeared today on a bond revocation hearing today on the sodomy charge. Walked out of court, while there is a outstanding warrant on his felony DWI $10,000.00. Cash bond. And he just strolled out the door! Hope he doesn't hurt someone else.
