Supreme Court rules against Schmitt, attorneys general on health care workers vaccine mandate

Attorney General Eric Schmidt went one for two today in U. S. Supreme Court decisions.

While the Court ruled against the vaccine mandate for businesses with more than 100 employees by a 6-3 vote, a 5-4 decision permitted the Biden Administration to continue with its vaccine mandate for health care workers in institutions in which Medicare and Medicaid are used.

Schmitt posted these tweets after the decisions.

BREAKING: SCOTUS just HALTED the OSHA private employer vaccine mandate, a huge win for Missourians and Americans.

Missouri was the first state to file suit against the OSHA vaccine mandate.

While we're disappointed in the Court's ruling on the health care worker vaccine mandate, that fight is far from over. We will continue to work to ensure that rural hospitals and nursing homes are able to provide critical care to Missourians.
