(From the Newton County Sheriff's Office)Vernon Clark Jalo was last heard from on 10/30/1996 when he spoke on the phone with a family member from his home near Iris Road/Otter Drive in Neosho, Missouri.
He was 5’10/160, Brown/Blue. He was missing many teeth and his top, front, two teeth were chipped into a ^ shape. He was 33 at the time he went missing and would be 61 now.

Is this anything? The deceased appears to be related to the missing person. A casket bearer possibly with the name of the missing?

CEDAR VALE - Services for Dean Cox were held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 25, 2000, at the Cedar Vale Church of Christ. Chuck Evans officiated. Burial was in Cedar Vale Cemetery.
Music included "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" and "It Is Well With My Soul."
Casket bearers were Mike Cox, Gary Cox, Lee Cox Jr., Marland Cox, Guy Auman, Travis Cox, Clark Jalo, Burke Lenington and Cody Lenington.
A memorial has been established with the Cedar Vale Historical Museum.
Wheeler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Yes, this was our grandfather but my brother (he used his middle name) did not come to the funeral. All of the grandson's and 2 close neighbor boys were included in the write up as acknowledgement.
