A LaRussell man and former Carthage resident who has pleaded guilty twice to driving while intoxicated, another time to having a forged driver's license and has been deported four times was indicted today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri for being in the United States illegally.
According to the indictment, Osman Nehemias Hernandez-Flores, 49, a native of Guatemala, was deported to that country following his initial DWI arrest in 2003, a driving while revoked charge in 2006, a second DWI in 2009 and for the forged driver's license in 2016.
The Carthage Police Department arrested Hernandez-Flores for displaying an altered driver's license in October. He has pleaded guilty to that charge.

Hernandez-Flores was not the only illegal Jasper County resident to be indicted today.
Heber Josue Mendez-Menocal, 35, was charged with being in the U. S. illegally and for carrying a Keltecmodel P3AT .380 caliber pistol.
