Pineville man booked for vehicle theft, burglary, receiving stolen property

On December 23, 2025, detectives with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address near the Longview area in an attempt to locate a wanted subject identified as Remington Ziemianin.

Upon arrival, detectives observed a male subject sitting inside a vehicle who was later identified as Ziemianin. Detectives detained Ziemianin and made contact with the owner of the vehicle. After receiving consent, a search of the vehicle was conducted.

During the search, detectives located multiple items believed to be stolen during a recent burglary near the 5800 block of East State Highway 76. In addition, drug paraphernalia and two weapons were also discovered inside the vehicle.

Ziemianin was transported to the McDonald County Detention Center and booked on multiple charges, including Stealing a Motor Vehicle, Burglary in the Second Degree, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
