Much has been written about the problems with bias among MSNBC hosts, primarily Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, but now it is the parent network that appears to be dissing the Republican Party.
After showing Barack Obama's speech on the concluding day of the Democratic National Convention one week ago, NBC (KSNF in the Joplin area) will not even cover the convention tonight, leaving the news to its cable network.
Instead, the Peacock Network will show the opening game of the National Football League season, pitting the Super Bowl champion New York Giants against their Eastern Conference rivals, the Washington Redskins.
CBS and ABC will offer live coverage of the final night of the Republican Convention and John McCain's acceptance speech.
