Only two members of Missouri's Congressional delegation, Seventh District Congressman Billy Long and Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, cast "no' votes Tuesday on a $40 billion aid package for Ukraine.
Missouri's two Democratic representatives, Cory Bush and Emanuel Cleaver and the remaining four Republican legislators, Blaine Leutkemeyer, Ann Wagner, Sam Graves and Jason Smith voted in favor of the proposal.
In a statement to the Kansas City Star, Long explained his vote:
My constituents spoke out loud and clear. They were not in favor when we have so many problems that need addressing here at home.

Either declare war or let Ukraine sink or swim. Enough money has been tossed in the hole.
I think it was a smart vote, didn't know Silly Billy had it in him.
Why are you mad? Want to increase this war which is none of our business?
I'd rather a wall to keep out the Mexicans as opposed to getting more Ukrainians killed.
Good more people need to pay attention, this is smoke and mirrors, your telling me that Russia can’t defeat Ukraine,bs they have the ability to have done it in less than a week, this is the cat playing with the mouse, much more to this Russia Ukraine
