(From Fourth District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler)Under this incompetent administration, Biden has created a crisis at our border, gas pump, grocery store, in the classroom, and overseas in Afghanistan.
Now, America has a baby formula crisis on its hands, and it has hit Missouri especially hard. Missouri has become just one of six states where over half of baby formula supplies are sold out.
As a mother, I cannot imagine the stress parents of young babies are facing as they head to the grocery store only to find empty shelves. Record-high gas prices also make it more difficult to travel long distances to hunt down food and supplies.
To combat this crisis and improve the supply chain, I co-sponsored the Formula Act which would temporarily waive trade barriers that reduce the supply and increase the prices of baby formula from overseas. I have also joined my Republican colleagues in a letter to President Biden and FDA Commissioner Califf expressing our concerns about the shortage and the administration’s failure to meaningfully address it in a timely manner.
What can you do in this terrible situation? The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has outlined various steps families can take during these difficult times which can be found here.
Rest assured, I am doing everything in my power to alleviate this shortage and urge the administration to work for the American people.

Repubulicants worship deregulation.
Republicants worship getting rid of government regulators that get in the way of billion dollar profiteers.
Republicants don't care about suppliers developing monoploy positions by hook crook and help- this by their bought and paid for legislators passing the laws that help cause monopolies.
Republicants don't care that contaminated infant formula is produced and sold because the equipment is defective.
Campaign money is free speech.
Republicants don't care.
