Webb City man convicted on one count of child molestation, found not guilty on two other charges

On November 19, 2025, a Jasper County jury convicted Jamie Judy of one count of child molestation in the fourth degree. Judy was charged with one count of Statutory Sodomy in the Second Degree and two counts of Child Molestation in the Fourth Degree which occurred in October of 2024 when the victim was 14 years old. 

At trial, the State presented the testimony of the victim, testimony from the Forensic Interview conducted at the Children’s Center, and testimony of Detective Beckett with the Webb City Police Department. 






The defendant presented the testimony of his wife and daughter. 

The jury deliberated approximately three hours before finding the defendant guilty of one count, but not
guilty on the other two counts. The defendant was taken into custody. Sentencing is scheduled for February 24, 2026.
