Joplin man indicted on cocaine, weapons charges

A federal grand jury indicted Tierall Devean Sherrick, 30, Joplin, on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute on October 30, 2025 and two counts of possessing a weapon as a user of controlled substances, once on October 26 and on October 31, 2025.

The federal charges are based on local arrests. Jasper County Circuit Court records indicated Sherrick is awaiting trial on multiple felonies, including two counts of domestic assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, property damage, stemming from arrests by the Joplin and Carl Junction police departments.
