Number of COVID-19 patients at Joplin hospitals falls to 58

 

The number of COVID-19 patients in Joplin hospitals, which stood at more than 110 at its height, is down to 58, according to statistics posted on the city's website Tuesday night.

Of those 58, 27 are Joplin residents.

The Joplin Health Department confirmed 45 new cases and has 186 active cases.

The city has recorded 105 deaths due to COVID-19.
