A Joplin woman waived her indictment on money laundering charges today in U. S. District Court in Springfield and pleaded guilty.
According to the plea agreement, Bonnie Henning, 61, participated in an online fraud scheme and received at least $302,960.56 between July 8, 2020 and continuing through at least August 2022.
In the agreement, the government notes Henning has been cooperative and made no recommendation on a sentence.
The agreement requires Henning to make restitution.
No date has been scheduled for sentencing.
Henning was released on her own recognizance.
