Sentencing for Ace Mohr, 26, Carthage, on first degree robbery and assault charges, originally scheduled for this morning, was postponed until 9 a.m. August 24, according to Jasper County Circuit Court online records.
The records indicate Mohr did not take part in today's hearing before Judge Dean Dankelson, which was held on Zoom, but was represented by his attorney, Austin Knoblock.
Mohr's charges stem from an October 27, 2018 incident in which he beat a Carthage man with brass knuckles and stole his wallet, phone and watch, according to the probable cause statement.
Mohr pleaded guilty January 24.
