A Joplin woman waived her preliminary hearing in Jasper County Circuit Court and was bound over for trial for allegedly kidnapping a 17-year-old girl and beating her with brass knuckles.
Hannah Michelle Higginbotham (DOB 1997) will have her first appearance in Division II 1:30 p.m. February 7.
Higginbotham allegedly was angered because the girl was sleeping with her boyfriend and not only kidnapped her once, but also did so the next day.
In addition to the brass knuckles, Higginbotham tased her and tied her up, according to the probable cause statement.

Hannah is a no good trouble making drug addict and needs to be locked up she has no respect for anything or anybody. People like hannah need locked up for the maximum amount of time she should of never been let out on bond she is steady running the streets,selling drugs and etc etc I'm sure she is an embarrassment to her family
