Olbermann: Billy Long should resign in shame

It didn't take long for former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann to get back into the swing of things with his Worst Person of the Day segment.

Preparing for his new gig on Current TV last week, Olbermann called for Seventh District Congressman Billy Long to "resign in shame," noting that Long had mocked tornado drills and had attempted to sell off ham radio frequencies.

At one point, Olbermann also refers to Long as a fraud.

That's a lot like the worst person in the world calling the worst person in the world the worst person in the world.

Free Bozo!

I usually don't agree with Olbermann, but I do on this. I bet Congressman Long grabbed Bozo and took him to him shelter as the storms approached Springfield.

Olbermann might be an idiot, but it doesn't forgive Billy Long for insulting and cutting the protections in place that saved lives in Joplin. Long's will have to defend his record on public safety to the people of Joplin one day soon.
