Conan O'Brien: Obama Joplin High School Graduation speech was a downer

TBS talk show host Conan O'Brien, with the help of some judicious editing, had his own take on President Barack Obama's Joplin High School graduation speech. It should be noted that the graduates shown do not appear to be from Joplin.

Seriously O'Brien! Come on man... I always liked you, always thought u were funny.. Now you just look dumb... The Graduates were sitting in rows of chairs in front of him while he gave his speech, and your really going to pick this event, THE GRADUATION OF A HIGH SCHOOL CLASS THEY DIDNT THINK WOULD EXIST THIS TIME LAST YEAR! Use someone Else's time with the pres to talk crap about. But leave those kids alone! They worked hard to graduate through all the stress, emotional challenges, debris clean up, rebuilding a town, make shift schools and hospitals... And your really going to pick this even to talk trash about?!? GTFO!

I thought it was funny...and I am from Joplin. Joplin wasn't mentioned. It was obviously not our Senior class. The way the video was edited made the President's remarks seem like a big downer. Lighten up.

anonymous...you're from Joplin?...where do you live on the north side of town?...if you were affected by the storm, I dont think you would think it was funny. I AM from Joplin and a huge Conan fan...I havent watched one episode since. I went to Lawrence KS. a month after the strom to get away for a weekend, some jerk cracked a joke about the tornado and I was ready to smash his ass. I've been a Conan fan for a long time. he crossed the line on this one.
