Sharp named R-8 board president, Fort, Banwart, Steele sworn in

The reorganized Joplin R-8 Board of Education concluded its meeting moments ago after electing Annie Sharp as its new president.

Mike Landis was elected vice president.

Sworn into office at the beginning of the session, were returning board member Randy Steele and newly-elected Lynda Banwart and Debbie Fort.
