Don't throw away those November 3, 2020 ballots.
While a lawsuit filed September 2 in Jasper County Circuit Court does not allege any wrongdoing, it still asks County Clerk Charlie Davis to preserve the ballots.
Joplin resident Laurie Behm filed the case, with Wesley Barnum, Webb City, serving as her attorney.
If the court does not grant an injunction barring Davis from destroying the ballots, something that had not taken place and wasn't on the agenda for anytime in the near future "immediate injury, loss or damage will result."
All legal briefs and/or motions to dismiss are due by October 11, according to online court records.
The lawsuit appears to be one of a number that have been filed by supporters of former president Donald Trump with the encouragement of My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, which laid out a strategy at his recent "Moment of Truth" meeting in Springfield.
From the September 11 Washington Post:
The latest flood of requests began immediately after Lindell, a prominent Trump ally, exhorted his followers at a mid-August gathering in Springfield, Mo., to obtain copies of what’s known as “cast vote records” from every election office in the country.A cast vote record shows how an individual voted across the ballot. Ballots themselves are cast vote records, but some voting machines can also generate the data in report form — enormous spreadsheets that academics have long used to track split-ticket voting and other voting patterns.

I guess this means we can invalidate all the votes from Jasper County and remove anyone elected by that voting from public office. God but this Trumpshit is getting deep.
Is this some kind of a democrat plot to catch voter fraud?
There are lots of Republicans getting caught committing voter fraud, and where better to look for more of that type of stuff than with all the Republicans voting in Jasper County?
Only people stealing votes is the Dems, need any proof look at this clown sitting as our president, everyone knows he’s incompetent it’s sad how his own party is abusing him.
We Independents need to be in charge of all elections, as neither the elephant crowd nor the donkey crowd can be trusted to any degree to act in an honest manner. Ditto for the redistricting process.
