Joplin man pleads guilty to cocaine, fentanyl trafficking


A Joplin man pleaded guilty this morning in U. S. District Court in Springfield to cocaine and fentanyl trafficking.

Judge David P. Rush ordered a presentencing investigation for Emilino Maturino, 25. No date has been scheduled for sentencing.

Maturino, 25, admitted to trafficking drugs in Jasper County between November 30, 2020 and February 7, 2022.

You mean tougher laws for all the crooks? Like the politicians who cost us $240k for breaking the sunshine law?
Like the Supreme Court judges whose votes are bought with house purchases and college tuition and very very nice trips? Let’s get tough on all the creeps. Three strikes and they are out also.
We only punish the unimportant people while the important get by with more corruption than ever imagined.
