Joplin City Council meeting canceled due to severe weather predictions

Due to forecasted severe weather this evening (May 19, 2025), tonight’s City Council meeting has been cancelled. 

All agenda items which had been scheduled for tonight will be postponed to the June 2, 2025 council meeting.

We encourage the community to stay weather-aware through the night and have a plan to stay safe in case we get any severe weather warnings.
