Neosho couple bound over for trial on murder, drug trafficking charges

A Neosho couple was bound over for trial on murder and drug trafficking charges following a preliminary hearing held today in Newton County Circuit Court.

Madison Shayne Stonecipher (DOB 2000) and Gatlin McKell Pennington (DOB 1993) were charged with the November 28 death of Jesse Dunn, 28, Neosho.

Dunn's body was found December 2 and an autopsy determined he died from a methamphetamine and fentanyl overdose. According to the probable cause statement, investigators determined he received the drugs from Stonecipher and Pennington in exchange for a Cricut machine.
