A Neosho man's trial for statutory sodomy and child molestation was moved from Newton County Circuit Court to McDonald County Circuit Court today after the attorney for Dusty Allen Scott (DOB 1988) asked for a change of venue.
A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. May 18.
Scott was bound over for trial following a March 2 preliminary hearing.
Scott allegedly performed a sexual act on an underage girl in 2020.
According to the probable cause statement, Scott told the child "not to tell anyone because he would get in trouble."
