Schoeller: With Robin Carnahan out, we can restore integrity

Republican secretary of state candidate Rep. Shane Schoeller, R-Willard, ripped the woman he is hoping to succeed in a news release issued today.

One year from today, we’ll be returning to our lives the day after the 2012 Election. Our state and our nation will have chosen officials from Missouri Secretary of State to the President of the United States. With the support and hard work of people like you, the headlines will be:

"LIBERAL POLICIES REJECTED, CONSERVATIVES WIN BIG”

I am running for Missouri Secretary of State because I am fed up with the games that liberals like Robin Carnahan have played with the office. The office is far too important! We need someone who will defend the sacred institutions that make our country great: fair elections and free enterprise.

Whether it’s been unfair ballot language, the cozy relationship with ACORN, or efforts to stifle a commonsense voter I.D. requirement, Missourians are saying ‘enough is enough’ with the games!

With Robin Carnahan not running for re-election, we have a tremendous opportunity to restore the integrity of this office. But if we don’t start working now the headlines a year from now could be:

"DEMOCRATS HOLD ON, RETAIN PRESIDENCY AND OTHER OFFICES”

Schoeller I hope I live to see you have to eat those words.

So if Robin Carnahan is not running for re-election, why does this clown's press release read like he's running against her. I think someone should point out it makes more sense to run against your actually opponent.

Schoeller speaks like a true tea party republican. Not for anything, just running against someone that isn't even running again.

Another nut case on the republican side.
