Once again, the House is passing legislation that won't be bringing any jobs to anyone, and, of course, Vicky Hartzler is happy about it. The following comes from her news release:
Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4), a staunch defender of gun rights, is applauding House passage of H.R. 822 – the Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act. This legislation will allow any person with a valid concealed right-to-carry gun permit or license, issued by a state, to carry a concealed firearm in any state allowing the same rights to its citizens.
"The right to carry is an extension of constitutional rights guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment," said Hartzler. "I am proud to co-sponsor this effort to protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners throughout the country who must be allowed to protect themselves and their families within or outside the borders of their home states.”
“The right to self-defense is a fundamental component of the U.S. Constitution and has been recognized in law since this country's origins” continued Hartzler. “This legislation would protect and respect the right of the people to bear arms for security - no matter where they happen to be in this country."
“H.R. 822 does NOT create a federal licensing or registration system and does not allow federal bureaucrats to set standards for right-to-carry permits,” added Hartzler. “It would, however, require states to recognize each others’ right-to-carry permits, just as a driver’s license issued by one state is recognized throughout the country.”
The bill now goes to the Senate for its consideration.

You know, you can't hold a job if you're dead.
My new Kimber Carry employed some quiet skilled workers, Thanks to Hartzler and her work on this legislation.
Don't usually agree with Hartzler, but this time she was on the mark. As "Anonymous" said, you can't hold a job if you're dead. Why do so many people who consider themselves patriotic also want to dismiss the Second Amendment? Just look at recent events in England (riots) and what happened to whole neighborhoods who were unable to defend themselves with no police to help.
