The decision to reduce the bail for alleged child-killer Brandon Kahl, 25, Lamar, was made over the objection of Prosecuting Attorney Steven Kaderly, according to Barton County Circuit Court records.
Bond had initially been set at $25,000, but was reduced to $15,000 after a request by Kahl's lawyer, James Nichols, according to court records. Stipulations for the bond include Kahl living with either his father or his grandfather, and not coming into contact with anyone under the age of 17.
Kahl, whose next court hearing is scheduled for June 28, allegedly caused the death of Alexander Cole, 2, by crushing the boy's chest, rupturing his heart. Court records indicate Kahl was angry with the child because he kept crying and getting out of bed.

I Just want justice in this case. I am a relitive and am sad to say I did not get to know Alex very well. His mother did not allow anyone from their fathers side to see the two boys. Including their own father. I would like to also say that she knew Brandon was violent and continued to stay with him! I just want to have everyone pray that Jason is allowed to go with His father who has been fighting for his children for over a year and who had custody of them! She just ran with them. Please Pray for Jason!!

I can only go by what I know. Angela may now claim he did not do it but when I had heard from her for months that she is scared of him. And that she had to wait till he gets a new job so she could sneek herself and the children out of the house. It gives it bad light. Not to mention that I know her and know that she is not a very stable person. When I saw that little face with makeup trying to cover up the bruises My heart broke. And also seeing her laugh and flirt with other guys at her sons funeral just is wrong!!
I did not know Brandon so you can imagiane I can only go by what she has said in the past, and the police! The evidence is apparently not in his favor. I guess we will have to wait to see. And about the grave she wanted him creamated as soon as she could(wich the police said no) But his father has a emplty grave and would bury him and pay for it. I think we really need to just worry about poor Jason in all this. He is only a little kid! Who now has to deal with his baby brother being gone. Im sorry If I upset you with this Im just very sad and mad that this had to happen to my baby cousin! He did not even get a chance in life!
I have a answer about why she would bail him out. Becuase she cares about having a man between her sheets more than her own children!!!
I worked with Brandon that night. He was at work from midnight until 6 am. There's no way he could have done it.
Well Im sure the cops have all that information and they seem to think he did it. I personally dont know. He could be covering up for Angie about somthing. I really dont know. As long as who ever did it pays for it. And as long as Jason gets to be with his dad where he IS save.
Can someone tell me if this is the same Brandon Kahl that was a Marin,e stationed at Camp Pendleton, 4 years ago?
Not sure where Brandon was stationed, but yes he was a Marine and its most likely the same person you know.
