Micah Holman may only be being held on two drug charges, but the $250,000 bond placed on him as he sits in Jasper County Jail indicates he may be more than a just a "person of interest" in the weekend murders of Marvin and Peggy Steverson of Carthage.
The Steversons were murdered in their home, which was then apparently set on fire by the murderer or murderers to cover up the evidence.
As reported Monday on this blog, Holman had been scheduled to appear in Jasper County Circuit Court Monday on domestic assault charges. That hearing was postponed.
